UTSFC wins two gold at the first National Circuit competition.

Frank Bartolillo and Min Yi Du took out the Gold in the Men's Foil and Women's Sabre respectively.

UTSFC members had another successful weekend when competing at the NSWFA competitions.

    U/17 Men's Foil: Silver to David Donato, 6th Paul Leone Jnr, 11th Yu Lin
    U/17 Men's Epee: Silver to Paul Leone Jnr, Bronze to Yu Lin, 6th David Donato
    U/17 Women's Epee: Bronze to Chloe Esposito


UTS Fencing Club's Junior National Representatives

Following the success of Joe Slowaiczek, Gold medallist Men's Foil, Individual and Team, Alex Carioti, Gold medallist Men's Foil Team at Commonwealth Junior Championships held in Chennai last month, our cadet and junior fencers have dominated NSW fencing competitions at both age and senior levels.

Our congratulations to the these fencers who have been selected to represent Australia at the Cadet and Junior World Championships to be held in Korea in April.

    Cadet Men's Foil: David Donato
    Cadet Men's Sabre: Paul Leone Jnr
    Junior Men's Foil and Epee: Joe Slowiaczek

Congratulations also the UTS club coaches of these fencers, Jeff Gray and Alwyn Wardle.

Alwyn Wardle is the coach of both the current Senior and Junior Commonwealth Champions. Well done Al !
